sounds awesome. I played Ratchet and Clank 1, a loooonnngg time ago. Great ideas in that game, it serves well as a main frontrunner (I'm guessing) for Insomniac once Spyro hit the bottom of the pyramid. I did pick up the latest PS2 Ratchet and Clank release several months ago, when it was on clearance at some retail store, but have only played it once. I'm slightly enticed to play it a second time now :)

for me it was more of a 3rd person shooter than anything, it lacked some of the earlier games' epic platforming sections.

I was listening to that first video when a friend of mine called, I left the room but at around the 3 minute mark that scream sound came in and I put my friend on hold. That sound took me really off guard and I loved it.

Sweeet. God of War... but Spyro... YESSSS. Another Spyro Fanatic I can speak to :D Loved the Sheila's Alp stage. The music was awesome. But, I must say that the skateboard mini-game stage music has to be my utmost favorite of all time in that game. Cannot get enough of that XD I miss playing that game... *sniffles* ; ;

King Crimson are also sexcellent. Did the Spyro guy do the Ratchet and Clank soundtracks too? (both are Insomniac games).

King Crimson is pretty sexcellent indeed, havent liked too much of what ive heard from them, altogether ive only heard about 5 or 6 songs from them but that song is fucking brilliant. I need to browse more of their work. And I'm not sure if Copeland did the Ratchet and Clank music, I would guess no. He left Insomniac after Spyro 4 (its widely agreed that after Spyro 3 the series went downhill).
